This year’s Christmas trip to Edinburgh is a little different. After a personally tough end to the year for my family, this trip is a much needed girl's road trip. Just me, my Mum and my four year old daughter Rosa and we're staying the night. How exciting. Girls on tour!
HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL EXPAT
A few weeks ago, I was thrilled to be a guest on The Postcard Academy. Sarah Mikutel and I are now podcast buddies (and, as it happens we are North London neighbours!). So I was so pleased when Sarah agreed to come on to my podcast.
ON THE ROAD WITH DIGITAL NOMADS IN LISBON
A few weeks ago, I went to Lisbon, to try out co-living and co-working space Outsite. While I was there, I was curious to talk to digital nomads who were staying there, and to find out about the realities of working and living on the road long term.

OUTSITE LISBON REVIEW
I've been travelling on and off for 16 years, mixing up my travel writing with freelance design work. Way back in 2002 (when I took my first ever trip to South-East Asia), there was no such thing as a co-living space for digital nomads, or at least not that I'm aware of. THE IMPORTANCE OF SOLO TRAVEL WITH ANNA HART
Anna Hart is one of my favourite travel writers. She has over ten years experience writing for The Guardian, GQ, Grazia, The Telegraph, Sunday Times Travel and Conde Nast Traveller. She is also the contributing travel editor of Stylist Magazine. This episode was recorded a few months ago in sunny Margate, but I just had to create a podcast episode as Anna has such wit and wisdom when it comes to solo travel.

ADVICE FROM A DR - HOW TO STAY HEALTHY ON THE ROAD
Hi everyone! This is just a short and sweet post about the launch of my new podcast over on iTunes! The first episode is an interview with the wonderful Dr. Jane Wilson-Howarth, Wanderlust magazine’s resident medic. We discuss how to avoid getting Delhi belly, what to do if you have an accident or are taken ill when you’re travelling and what essential medical kit we should all take with us on each trip.
MOVING OVERSEAS: LIFE AS AN EXPAT IN DUBAI
In 2008, Rhiannon Downie-Hurst was at a low point in her young life. She had lost a lucrative job in ad sales, split up with her long-term partner and was heartbroken, living in a tiny bedsit in North West London. Today, she lives in The UAE, and is the founder of award winning website brideclubme.com. This is her incredible expat story.
A WEEKEND IN LIVERPOOL
As part of The Great Exhibition of the North, I finally got to visit Liverpool, for the first time in my life. I can't believe it has taken me so long!
