My co-working space in Lisbon

A few weeks ago, I went to Lisbon, to try out co-living and co-working space Outsite. While I was there, I was curious to talk to digital nomads who were staying there, and to find out about the realities of working and living on the road long term.

We discuss how to manage your client relationships, the costs associated with long term travel, and also what a typical day might look like (if there is such a thing!). Listen below or click here to listen in iTunes.

The blend of remote work and travel

It really opened my eyes to talk about productivity, creativity and flexibility. Having the freedom to design your days around your own set of circumstances and clients makes so much more sense than being chained to a desk for 8 hours (without necessarily being productive the entire time). And of course you get to live in different cities around the world, and meet all kinds of people, and make useful connections along the way.

Living on the road, I’ve probably got more expendable income, than I did when I was living in London.
