I've had Stockholm on my hit list for a while but always ended up putting it off as it was so expensive (to get to and to live when you get there). But a few weeks ago, I bit the bullet and booked those flights.
In September, I took a trip to Barcelona. This was my third trip to Barcelona but my first solo trip. I booked myself into an Airbnb just around the corner from Passeig de Gràcia. It was a beautiful apartment with top floor views of the Eixample neighbourhood.
With my two year old daughter spending a few days with her grandparents, and a couple of days holiday booked in my diary, I suddenly found myself with a brief window to get away all by myself.
