BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour Interview with Gemma Thompson - founder of A Girls' Guide to Travelling Alone
A few months ago, I was lucky enough to be invited on to BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour to talk all things solo travel with Jenni Murray. I was VERY nervous (I mean, it's Jenni Murray!) and full of cold. I rehearsed what I hoped were intelligent and interesting answers to any possible questions that might pop up. However, the one that I wasn't prepared for was right at the very end, when Jenni asked 'what's the best experience you've had?'. It seems such an obvious one yet I had to think of an answer on the spot. Not sure it was the most sensible answer I gave, but it was at least true! Hear the full interview here.
